SUMMARY:EPAR: Electromagnetic Pathways to Architectural Reliability in Qua
 ntum Processors
DESCRIPTION:Navnil Choudhury (Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute), Yizhuo Ta
n (Yale University), Jiaqi Yu and Jakub Szefer (Northwestern University),
and Kanad Basu (RPI)\n\nAs superconducting processors scale, understanding
how physical layout shapes qubit interactions is essential for architectu
ral reliability. Existing methods offer limited insight into how electroma
gnetic design choices translate into execution-level behavior. We present
EPAR, an electromagnetic-to-architecture framework that predicts robustnes
s early directly from physical design by reconstructing how design distort
ion modifies the effective Hamiltonian, reroutes mediated connectivity, an
d influences control-pulse response. Across all tested layouts, EPAR's str
uctural scores show 100% agreement with two-qubit error trends yet reveal
over 10x robustness differences among edges with identical calibrated erro
r rates, going beyond conventional metrics to provide improved and actiona
 ble compiler guidance.\n\nTopics: Quantum\n\nTrack: DES6. Quantum Computin
