SUMMARY:Late Breaking Results: HighTide: an Open-Source Hardware Benchmark
  Suite
DESCRIPTION:Benjamin Goldblatt, Paolo Pedroso, Farhad Modaresi, and Matthe
w Guthaus (University of California, Santa Cruz)\n\nEvaluation of Electron
ic Design Automation (EDA) tools, circuits, and systems often relies on ou
tdated hardware benchmarks. Existing benchmark designs, which are predomin
antly RISC-V CPUs, provide limited representation of components found in m
odern SoCs. This hinders (i) evaluating the capabilities of design tools a
nd flows and (ii) providing diverse datasets to train machine learning (ML
) models for EDA. We introduce HighTide (https://vlsida.github.io/HighTide
/), a benchmarking suite that tracks open-source designs and evolves to ma
 intain a contemporary evaluation suite.\n\nTrack: Student\n\n
